Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account details: email address, first name, surname, age, gender, city, and optionally your mobile number.
• Profile: interests, intentions (friends / open to love / both), meeting preferences, and your optional voice pitch (audio and transcript).
• Activity: events you book or host, venue votes, reviews you give (secret unless mutual), circle memberships, messages you send through the app, credits transactions, and referral invites.
• Technical: basic device and usage data via Google Analytics (see section 6). We do not collect precise location data.

2. Why we collect it

• To run the club: matching you into groups, booking events, managing credits, and operating circles and chat.
• For safety and integrity: reports, no-show tracking, and enforcing our terms.
• To improve the service (aggregate analytics) and to contact you about your account, bookings, or club news you’ve asked for.

3. What other members see

Other members see your first name, age, city, interests and intent — never your surname, email or phone. Your surname is revealed to a specific person only when you have both said you’d happily see each other again (enforced at the database, not just the interface). Your voice pitch is played to members you’re seated with. Reviews you leave are secret unless mutual.

4. Who we share it with

• Service providers who operate the platform: Supabase (database, authentication, hosting — data may be processed in Australia and overseas), Netlify (site hosting), Resend (email delivery), and Google Analytics (usage statistics).
• Venues, only the details needed to run an event you’re booked into (typically first name and group size).
• Others only where required by law, or to protect the safety of members or the public.
• We never sell your personal information.

5. Storage and security

Data is stored with Supabase (Sydney region where available) and protected by encryption in transit, row-level security, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach is likely to cause you serious harm we will notify you and the OAIC as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

6. Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages visited, funnel events like signups and bookings). It sets cookies and processes pseudonymous identifiers. You can block it with a browser setting or ad-blocker without affecting the service.

7. Your rights and choices

• Access and correct your information from your Profile page, or by asking us.
• Delete your account — ask the club team via the app or hello@lmtw.ai and we’ll delete your profile, messages and personal data, except records we must keep by law (e.g. financial transactions).
• Opt out of marketing emails any time via the unsubscribe link or by telling us.
• Complain to us first — we’ll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

8. General

• The service is strictly 18+; we don’t knowingly collect information from minors.
• We keep your information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal and safety purposes.
• We may update this policy; the current version lives at lmtw.ai/privacy. Material changes will be flagged in the app.
