The club rules.
LMTW works because people feel safe enough to relax. These are the rules that protect every member — and they protect the club itself, operated by Serious Tech Pty Ltd. They are enforced: report, review, remove. Read them alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Money at the venue
- Pay your own way. Everyone pays for what they order, directly to the venue. No one at your event should ever ask you for money.
- Split sensibly. If a table agrees to split a shared bill (a tasting menu, a court hire), it’s equal shares, agreed up front. No one pockets anything.
- The only money that ever goes to the club is a credit pack through our secure Stripe checkout. Anyone at an event asking for cash, investments or transfers is breaking the rules — report them and they’re gone.
Your details stay yours
- Members are known by first name only. Your surname is revealed to a specific person only when you’ve both said you’d happily meet again — enforced by the database, not by promises.
- Contact details are never shared between members unless a connection is mutual. Phone numbers and emails stay private, always.
- Your data is encrypted in transit, row-secured at rest, and never sold. Full details in the Privacy Policy.
Zero tolerance — no exceptions
The following end a membership immediately, with credits forfeited and, where relevant, reports made to the police or regulators:
- No abuse or harassment — of members, hosts or venue staff, at events or in messages.
- No sex parties or solicitation. LMTW is friendship-first; romance may bloom between consenting adults on open-to-love events — anything transactional or coercive is banned outright.
- No exploitation — financial, emotional or otherwise. Vulnerable members are protected first.
- No scams. No investments, crypto tips, "opportunities", loans or money requests — ever.
- No pyramid or network marketing. No recruiting, no selling, no MLM pitches at events or in chat. Once is a warning; twice is removal.
- No business solicitation of any kind. Members are people, not leads.
How it’s enforced
- Report & block sits on every member card and event — one tap, straight to the club team.
- A human reviews every report. Confirmed breaches mean removal; serious ones mean the authorities.
- No-shows are tracked and twice-no-showed members lose booking privileges — the table counts on you.
- Every group is reviewed by a human before invites go out, and events are hosted by trained Captains.
The legal frame
These rules sit under the Terms & Conditions, which limit the liability of Serious Tech Pty Ltd to the maximum extent the law allows, while preserving every right you hold under the Australian Consumer Law. The rules protect the company so it can protect the members — a club that survives is a club that keeps its people safe.
Common questions
Do I ever pay another member or host?
Never. You pay the venue for what you order, and the club (via Stripe) for credit packs. No cash between members, ever — anyone asking is breaking the rules and should be reported.
Can someone get my phone number or surname?
Not through the club. Surnames and contact details are revealed only when two people both say they’d happily meet again — and that’s enforced at the database level.
What happens when I report someone?
A human on the club team reviews it. Confirmed abuse, scams, solicitation or MLM pitching ends the membership. You can also block anyone instantly — they can’t contact you again.
Is my data sold or shared with advertisers?
Never. Data is shared only with the providers who run the platform (Supabase, Netlify, Resend, Stripe, Google Analytics) and with venues for events you’re booked into. See the Privacy Policy.
Safe enough to relax. That’s the point.
