1The Academy, in your pocket
Eight short modules — the first ten minutes, reading the room, the close — then playbooks tailored to your activity and your crew’s generation. About an hour, free, Toastmasters-style. Apply from Profile → Become a Captain.
2Create your get-together
Pick the activity (eleven formats, dinners to bushwalks), your city, the night. The wizard suggests venues, group size and an agenda — you bring the welcome.
3Host, and get paid in credits
On the night you greet everyone by name and keep the conversation moving — the playbook has your back. After: +12 credits, +3 for a full house, +25 every five hosted. Most Captains find hosting pays for their entire social life.

Do I need experience?
None. The Academy exists because great hosts are trained, not born. If you like people, you’re qualified to start.
What do Captains actually earn?
+12 credits per get-together hosted, +3 when every seat shows, +25 every five hosted — and hosting never costs you credits. Certified Captains get first pick of events and the best earn rates.
